The Nashville Country Dancers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to American traditional dance
(New England contras and square dances) and English country dance.

We sponsor weekly English and Contra dances and two weekend long events -- a Playford Ball in the
Spring focusing on English country dance repertoire, and a Contra Dance weekend in the Fall.

As a volunteer-run organization, we focus on community and acceptance of all levels of skill and
experience. Our events are accessible to people of all ages and ideally suited for bringing the community
together. No partner is required. All dances are taught and accompanied by live music.
